Rumors regarding an Ashley Cole move from Chelsea to Real Madrid have been circulating the summer transfer window for some time, but Chelsea has continued to insist that they are not ready to part ways with their left back. Reports claim that Chelsea will not release Cole even for an amount around 30 million Euros. Cole, however, has been asking for a move from his home country of England because of some bad press regarding a split from his wife, Cheryl, but so far Chelsea has been resistant.

            Real Madrid remains persistent, however, and it is reported that they are prepared to offer Brazilian standout Kaka in exchange for Cole. Kaka signed last season for an astounding 56 million Euros, but had a disappointing campaign. It is no surprise that Jose Mourinho is leading the charge to sign Cole, sparking a reunion between him and the former Arsenal back.
