After recently abandoning their efforts to sign Brazilian international Maicon from Inter, Jose Mourinho and Real Madrid have set their sights on Serbian Nemanja Vidic. Vidic has reportedly grown sick of playing for Premiere League runner-up Manchester United.

            The 28 year-old has been associated with moves to teams such as cross-town rival Man City, AC Milan, Inter, and Madrid. Vidic’s experience has caught the eye of Mourinho, who is looking to sign a top defender for Madrid’s back line. Mourinho is also interested in Benfica’s David Luiz.
