Trade rumors regarding Liverpool midfielder Javier Mascherano have been circling the transfer window for a few weeks, and now it seems apparent that Mascherano will indeed leave Liverpool by next season. Reports surfaced stating that he is expected to submit a formal request for release from the Premiere League power.

            Mascherano and his agent continue to hint that the 26 year-old Argentinean will call Inter home next season, with much of the speculation resulting from Mascherano’s desire to play for his old coach, Rafael Benitez. Rumors throughout the press have continued to increase regarding a transfer to Inter, and Mascherano’s agent has also hinted that his client might be going to the Serie A champions.

            Barcelona has also been linked to the midfield talent, but seem more occupied with the ongoing Cesc Fabregas transfer wave.
